This week I learned about MOOC which is a free massive online delivery platform for online courses aimed at unlimited online participation. This platform is set to create opportunities for sharing ideas & knowledge and also improve lifelong learning skills through easy access to global resources.
Moreover, MOOCc has also found its footing in the K through 12 space, in Healthcare, in the Business spaces as well as in the lifelong learning platforms.
This week I learned about MOOC which is a free massive online delivery platform for online courses aimed at unlimited online participation. This platform is set to create opportunities for sharing ideas & knowledge and also improve lifelong learning skills through easy access to global resources.
This platform uses both traditional instructional style as well as new online instructional style such as discussion forums and interactive assignment. What is interesting in this platform was its ability to foster greater social interaction through sharing and appreciation activities.
It is also interesting to note that a vast number of well-established universities such as Stanford, Duke, Harvard, University of Edinburgh and the University of Pennsylvania all make use of this platform in one way or another.
