An Effortless Togetherness
This week' s assignment demanded that we work with a partner
to research, write, and make presentations to the entire class. What made this
process enjoyable was that we didn't choose our partner's team members. This
process was exciting because it forced us to reach outside ourselves to someone
else.
The success of the project and the good grade depended on
how well we work together. This meant establishing guidelines on how we were
going to manage the whole process involving deciding roles each member will
play in the project. We shared tasks and workloads. We also decided on times and dates to
collaborate on. We did our collaboration
on the phone, email, and google docs.
And another challenging yet exciting was open communication.
This meant encouraging each member to do their best on research.
Communication in this regard is critical to
the success of the projects. And to have an ability to come up with target
goals and learning strategies.
What I have learned throughout this process is that cooperation
can require a lot from individuals. It indicates being broad-minded, paying
attention to other individual's points of view as well as putting individual
agendas to one side. So, it's vital that we try to motivate partnerships across our respective organizations.
